The Foresters Public House

The Foresters in Farnham Common has just re opened under new management and has undergone a major refurbishment. And when I say major, I mean wow! They have revamped the place into a gastro style pub and dining experience. They have a brilliant new **** chef and the whole place really warm, cosy and yet modern with marble bar tops, slate and state of the art fixtures and fittings even down to giant throne style chairs aka posh and becks! It's not intimidating though, or ultra expensive - the staff are really friendly and the food we had was just superb. Music was really good and it was totally refreshing to see something like this in bucks. I recently had my 41st (gulp!) birthday party dinner down there and we had a brilliant night. I think its a tricky one when you feel a little old for clubbing nights and yet not really ready to fade away into dull and predictable pub type chains when celebrating a birthday. It's somewhere between the Crazy Bear and the Sarasons **** in Beaconsfield. Great stuff! And Thanks so much for a great night!
